Refund & Cancellation Policy
Draft — this document is under legal review and is not yet in force.
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. It is part of our Terms of Service. [All periods and amounts below are placeholders — to be agreed.]
1. Cancelling a Service
- Request cancellation from the client portal (Services → your Service → Cancel), choosing immediately or at the end of the billing period.
- Cancellations take effect only once submitted through the portal or confirmed by a support ticket.
- Remember to download your data first. After cancellation, data is deleted after [N] days.
2. Refund eligibility
| Service | Refund |
|---|---|
| New shared / reseller hosting | Full refund if cancelled within [N] days of first activation |
| Renewals of hosting | Not refundable once the new period has started |
| Domain registrations, renewals and transfers | Not refundable — fees are paid to the registry immediately |
| Setup fees, SSL certificates, licences and other third-party items | Not refundable |
| Services suspended for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy | Not refundable |
3. How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds are paid by the same method used to pay, or credited to your account balance if you prefer.
- Refunds are made in the currency of the original invoice. Bank charges and exchange-rate differences are not refunded.
- We process approved refunds within [N] business days.
4. Non-payment
Services with unpaid invoices are suspended and then terminated as described in section 3 of our Terms of Service. Termination for non-payment is not a cancellation and does not cancel amounts already due.
5. Contact
Send refund requests through a support ticket in the client portal, stating the invoice number.
