Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every Service and to everyone who uses it, including your own customers and users.
1. Prohibited content
You may not host, store, send or link to:
- Content that is illegal where you, your users or our servers are located.
- Child sexual abuse material of any kind. We report it to the authorities immediately and terminate the account without notice.
- Malware, phishing pages, exploit kits, botnet command-and-control, or cracked/pirated software.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights of third parties.
- Content that promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses or threatens individuals.
2. Email and spam
- No unsolicited bulk or commercial email. Mailing lists must be opt-in, with a working unsubscribe link.
- No purchased, rented or scraped address lists.
- Sending limits apply per plan: [N] messages per hour per domain. Accounts that trigger blacklisting may be suspended until the cause is fixed.
3. Network and security
- No scanning, probing or attacking other systems, including port scans and brute-force attempts.
- No denial-of-service attacks, IP spoofing, or open proxies/relays.
- Keep your applications (CMS, plugins, themes) up to date. We may suspend a compromised site to protect other customers, and restore it once it is cleaned.
4. Resource usage
Shared hosting plans are for websites and email, not for file storage, backups of other systems, streaming, or mining cryptocurrency. If an account uses a disproportionate share of CPU, memory, disk I/O or processes, we will contact you and may limit it or ask you to upgrade. [Specific limits per plan — to be defined.]
5. Reporting abuse
Report abuse to [abuse email] with as much detail as possible (URLs, headers, logs, timestamps). We acknowledge reports within [N] business hours.
6. Enforcement
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may warn you, remove the content, suspend the Service or terminate the account. Where a breach puts the network or third parties at risk, we can act immediately and inform you afterwards. Suspension for AUP breaches does not entitle you to a refund.
